Our goal
The Eich neighbourhood faces many challenges that we would like to tackle together with the Ville de Luxembourg, in order to make the area more vibrant and friendly. Let’s embrace our diverse community, share our experiences, and be proud of living in a neighbourhood with such a beautiful architectural heritage!
Everyone knows about the empty buildings in Eecher Plaz. Our association wants to work with the city of Luxembourg to define a common vision for our neighbourhood. We hope to preserve our architectural heritage, all while revitalising the area and encouraging the establishment of local businesses (i.e.: shops, cafes, restaurants, etc.)
Traffic in our neighbourhood is always dense, as it is an entry point to the city center. Unfortunately, this leads to many dangerous situations: poorly secure pedestrian crossings, narrow sidewalks, excessive speed, lack of visibility, etc. We would like for the city to acknowledge this issue, and together find a safer solution.
We have the chance to live in a diverse community, and we would like to make the most of it so that it becomes our strength. Our organisation wishes to support any initiative aimed at organizing events promoting togetherness and interculturality.
