On December 4th, we held our second neighbourhood meeting. It was an opportunity to discuss the following points:
- The latest information regarding the night shelter project.
- The modification of the cycle path in Parc Laval (more information here)
- The upcoming opening of the tiers-lieu (third place), and the creation of community gardens.
- The Pedibus project in the Eich neighbourhood.
- The numerous traffic safety issues in our neighbourhood.
- The empty buildings issue and the need for a masterplan for Eich.
Traffic safety was one of the main topics that evening. We plan to contact the City of Luxembourg in early 2026 with a list of the hazards that currently exist in the Eich/Mühlenbach neighbourhoods. If you think of other locations not mentioned in our report, please do not hesitate to contact us before January 10th, 2026 so that we can add them to the list.
